Champtek was founded in 1985 with headquarter located in New Taipei City, Taiwan. Champtek is a leading AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Capture) solution provider and manufacturer with a broad variety of products including multimedia scan kiosks, Auto-ID, NFC and RFID solutions. Besides the distribution partners in over 30 countries, Champtek has established sales offices and service points in Taiwan, Europe, USA and China to be close to the markets and give our customers and partners most efficient services in global scope yet local touch.

Besides the big success in marketing with CHAMPTEK brand, Champtek acquired Scantech ID, the Netherlands-based top 5 omni-directional scanner manufacturer in 2007, and strives to the global marketing with dual brand of CHAMPTEK and SCANTECH ID. The innovative products from Champtek have been widely deployed in retail, transportation, logistics, manufacturing, education, government and medical care industries. Champtek is committed to long term relationship and mutual trust with our partners.  We strive to achieve win-win success with customers through the continuous contributions in innovative R&D, and forward-looking product design.

In 2021, Champtek has developed broader customer relations in South Africa region and successfully delivered over 40,000 Voter Management Devices to the Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC). The IEC of South Africa has given their written endorsement that the VMD’s played an integral part in the successful delivery of the elections in South Africa that was held in November of that year.

They have further stated in their reference letter that the Voter Management Devices seamlessly integrated into the systems architecture of the Electoral Commission ahead of the elections in 2021. The contribution of competently delivering the project of such a scale with limited timelines and national import was crucial and noteworthy.

Champtek has gained several years of experiences in developing imaging technology and machine vision related products. We are now providing the market with fixed and mobile system solutions for Volume Measurement with innovative product lines and AGV scan module together with newly patented NaviCode correction barcode to reach out industries in the shipping, logistics, and warehouse management sectors.
