The short range CCD hand held bar code scanner
The SD1000 offers good reading performance and reliable operation at a very competitive price. With a reading distance from contact to 7,5 centimetres (3 inches) it serves well in various applications. The SD1000 has triple interface as standard, KBW, RS232 and USB, and is available in black or light grey colour. A power supply is not usually necessary, because of the very low power consumption of 130 mA at 5 Volts. The housing, made of ABS plastic, and the solid state CCD technology transforms the SR-75 into a durable strong scanner. The SD1000 is ideally suited for ECR use and as an additional hand scanner, connected to the AUX-port of a Scantech-ID stationary bar code scanner.
